19/08/2014 - Poland The group of Juhasi after the fisrt milking of the day is ready to split for the morning. One group will make the transhumance with the ewe while the other one will take care of the pasture. Oscypek, a polish cheese made from ewe's milk, is a protected trade name under the EU's Protected Designation of Origin geographical indication since 2008. This cheese is the result of a traditional handcraft process perpetuated by mountaineers, the Juhasi.
