07/20/2016 - Poland, Oswiecim. French pilgrims from the diocese of Cambrai visit the Auschwitz I concentration camp during their stay in Poland for WYD 2016 in Krakow, Poland. Although not part of the official WYD program in Krakow, the Auschwitz-Birkenau National Museum expects the visit of several hundred thousand visitors in a few days. To counter this flow, the authorities decided to close the interior of the museum, leaving pilgrims from all over the world only the possibility of visiting around the barracks.
